Mistral AI acquires Emmi AI to build an industrial engineering AI stack

Mistral AI acquired Emmi AI, the Linz-based company behind physics AI models such as AB-UPT and NeuralDEM, one year after its €15 million seed round. Emmi's co-founders and more than 30 researchers and engineers join Mistral's Science and Applied AI teams, and Linz becomes an official Mistral office. Terms were not disclosed.
